Hello All, I see getline in libminwex.a but I cannot find a header that includes it.I am using gcc-5.3.0 and mingwrt-3.22.2. You should not do; this must be an artefact from a mingwrt-5.0 build, and I must have forgotten to "make clean", before cutting the release build for mingwrt-3.22.2. > ... but I cannot find a header that includes it. Both getline(), and getdelim() from which it is derived, will be added to <stdio.h>, for mingwrt-5.0; exposure of both will depend on having an appropriate setting for the _POSIX_C_SOURCE feature test. - -- Regards, Keith. Does the fact that we are just at mingwrt-3.22.2 say anything about when mingwrt-5.0 may be expected? No. The mingwrt-3.22 and w32api-3.18 releases are the last planned for the 3.x series. There have already been 4.x releases; they turned out to be a TARFUBAR, which I would prefer to forget. 5.0 will be the next release, with mingwrt-5.0 and w32api-5.0 to be released together, and thereafter kept in version number lock-step; I will release them when I consider them to be ready. If you need any of the new functionality, ahead of formal release, you are always welcome to clone the combined git repository, and build the 5.0-active branch; the respective change-logs should give you some idea of what's new. - -- Regards, Keith.
